SmartDry Privacy and Security
At Connected Life Labs we continue to expand the features of SmartDry while maintaining security by design.
Any data we currently collect while your dryer is running is to make decisions about your current load of laundry:
1. That data transmitted contains no personally identifiable information
2. Any future features that would collect data for extra functionality for whatever reason would have an "opt out" and NOT sacrifice the basic features.
Our users would be given clear details on what is collected and could opt in, but never sacrifice the basic function of the unit if they opt out.
3. We also support customers "Right to be Forgotten" similar to European privacy standards recently implemented. If a customer wants to remove SmartDry, they can uninstall the device and simply request us to remove all info and data from our servers. This can provide the peace of mind that if they no longer want to use our products, as sad as we may be that they leave, we will honor their decision and all their data can be cleaned from our servers and it won't be used at later dates.
We hope this gives you a clear view of what we feel is important and our stance on privacy.
